Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain PLC control architectures for existing equipment platforms
  • Manage version control and change processes for PLC programs
  • Collaborate with design engineers to develop controls for new system configurations
  • Track and communicate project status, priorities, and timelines across teams
  • Program, test, and validate PLC and embedded control systems
  • Implement advanced control strategies including load matching, capacity control, and energy optimization
  • Support hands-on manufacturing, testing, and troubleshooting of custom systems
  • Integrate sensors, valves, VFDs, and motor controls into system architectures
  • Partner with engineering teams on system modeling, performance optimization, and component selection
  • Create and review electrical schematics, control panel layouts, and I/O assignments
  • Perform PID tuning and system performance validation
  • Implement communication protocols such as Modbus, BACnet, CAN, and other network interfaces
