Lawyers on Demand, a Consilio Company, is urgently seeking contract paralegals for a hybrid assignment in Armonk, NY.

Duration: 3-6 months

Location: hybrid on-site in Armonk, NY

Pay Rate: $45/hour


Scope of Work

The paralegals will provide hands‑on litigation support with a specific focus on data inventory, organization, preservation, and collection working under the direction of a senior eDiscovery project manager leading the effort.

Key responsibilities will include:

Physical Data Cleanup

  • Inventory, label, and organize physical files and storage boxes.
  • Assist with reconciling physical records against existing matter files and retention requirements.
  • Coordinate with legal team on disposition, retention, or transfer decisions.
  • Perform light lifting of file boxes, as required.

Digital Data Cleanup and Inventorying

  • Review and catalog digital data sources associated with current matters.
  • Create and maintain structured data inventories that include tracking location, custodian, matter association, and preservation status.
  • Identify duplicative, obsolete, or misfiled materials for remediation or escalation.

Data Preservation and Collection Support

  • Support preservation efforts by tracking custodians and data sources for active matters.
  • Work with paralegal team and case managers to assist with digital data holds and collections for review

Reporting and Documentation

  • Maintain detailed logs, trackers, and summary reports.
  • Use Excel‑based tools to track progress, volumes, and exceptions.
  • Flag risks, gaps, or inconsistencies requiring legal or operational escalation.

Required Skill Set and Experience:

  • Prior experience as a litigation paralegal or litigation support professional.
  • Demonstrated attention to detail and ability to work accurately with large volumes of physical and digital data.
  • Strong and quick Excel skills
  • Experience managing data inventories, trackers, or similar structured datasets.
  • Familiarity with litigation preservation and collection concepts.
  • Ability to comply with handling requirements for confidential and sensitive data.
  • Willingness and ability to perform light physical lifting associated with file box handling.
