Construction Superintendent

Owen Thomas Group are currently partnered with a Leading General Contractor in Arizona. Assisting them in their search for high-level Construction Superintendents working on major projects valued $50M+.


Duties:


  • Supervises field staff and enforces productivity, safety, and performance standards
  • Manages timecards, payroll submissions, and compliance with hiring practices
  • Ensures adherence to safety programs, procedures, and documentation requirements
  • Keeps drawings, RFIs, and project documentation accurate and up to date
  • Participates in project meetings and trainings as needed
  • Coordinates subcontractors and vendors to maintain project timelines
  • Identifies delays early and works with team to create recovery plans
  • Assists with job cost setup and tracking for self-performed work
  • Ensures accurate purchase orders, invoicing, and pay applications
  • Verifies subcontractor work aligns with scope, budget, and timeline
  • Supports contract compliance and negotiates back charges as needed
  • Maintains clear documentation and updates as-built drawings.


About You:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or 8+ years of related commercial construction experience
  • Strong knowledge of construction practices, safety regulations, and building codes
  • Skilled in construction scheduling, cost control, and risk management
