Job Summary
The Superintendent will oversee all field operations from pre‑construction through project completion. This role serves as the daily on-site representative of the company—ensuring quality workmanship, enforcing safety standards, managing site logistics, and maintaining professional communication with clients, subcontractors, and internal project teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily field operations for commercial and healthcare construction projects.
- Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, inspections, and jobsite logistics.
- Review construction drawings and specifications and resolve field issues with the project team.
- Maintain project schedules, including 3-week or 6-week look-ahead schedules.
- Lead weekly foremen and safety meetings; enforce OSHA and company safety standards.
- Monitor quality control and workmanship throughout all project phases.
- Maintain daily reports, progress photos, and documentation in Procore.
- Communicate effectively with clients, inspectors, subcontractors, and internal teams.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized jobsite.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience as a Superintendent in commercial construction.
- Experience with OSHPD/HCAI-regulated healthcare construction projects required.
- Strong leadership and ability to manage subcontractors and field personnel.
- Knowledge of construction documents, scheduling, and safety regulations.
- Experience with Procore or similar construction management software.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
