Title: Construction Superintendent

Location: Farmington, CT

Duration: 12-month contract to hire

Pay: $45 - $60 per hour

Overtime: 1.5x

Schedule: 7:00am- 3:30pm M-F

Construction Superintendent

Our client is a privately held real estate development and construction organization with a diverse portfolio of residential and commercial projects across the region. Our team operates in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment focused on delivering high-quality developments.

We are seeking a qualified and organized Construction Superintendent to oversee the daily operations of assigned residential construction projects. This role works closely with senior leadership and internal project teams to ensure successful project execution.

This position is best suited for a motivated, detail-oriented self-starter who can effectively manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.

On-Site Management:

• Oversee daily on-site construction activities and track project progress
• Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and field personnel on a daily basis
• Monitor quality control and material management

Scheduling & Execution:

• Track project timelines and support scheduling efforts
• Ensure work is completed according to plans, specifications, and standards
• Provide regular updates to internal stakeholders on project status
• Collaborate with project teams to improve efficiency and identify value engineering opportunities

Safety & Compliance:

• Conduct site inspections and enforce quality and safety standards
• Ensure all work complies with applicable local, state, and federal regulations

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a Construction Superintendent or similar role
• Minimum 5 years of experience in multifamily residential construction
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, scheduling, and site management
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, plans, and construction documents
• Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills
• Ability to manage multiple subcontractors and concurrent tasks
• Detail-oriented and self-motivated
• OSHA 30 certification required
• Valid driver’s license
• Full-time, on-site presence required
