What you’ll do


From day one, you’ll take ownership of underground utility projects, managing them from planning through to completion. You’ll:

  • Drive project financials, working with the Controller and CFO to monitor costs and forecast budgets accurately.
  • Create detailed schedules with the Superintendent and attend weekly field and PM meetings to keep everything on track.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards, permits, and local regulations through regular site visits and quality assessments.
  • Manage change orders and keep all stakeholders, including customers, subcontractors, and inspectors, informed and aligned.
  • Partner with the Project Coordinator to prepare monthly progress billing and maintain strong customer relationships through professionalism and responsiveness.


What you’ll need

  • Proven experience managing construction projects, preferably in underground utilities but good Civil experience would also be relevant,
  • Strong understanding of construction methods, scheduling, and cost control
  • Knowledge of safety standards, utility installation processes, and municipal regulations
  • Ability to read and interpret plans, specifications, and engineering documents
  • Strong communication, problem solving, and leadership skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with field and office teams in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency with project management software, scheduling tools, and Microsoft Office Suite
