Overview

We are seeking an experienced Civil and General Construction Project Manager and Estimator to lead heavy civil and general construction projects from bid through completion. This is a senior, hands-on role for a construction professional who takes pride in accountability, quality workmanship, and building strong teams.


This position plays a critical role in project success and client satisfaction and is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast paced, high ownership environment.


Key Responsibilities

*Lead projects from award through closeout including budgeting, scheduling, cost control, and change management

*Prepare accurate and detailed cost estimates by reviewing plans, specifications, site conditions, and subcontractor pricing

*Track project costs, review invoices, and ensure financial accuracy throughout the project lifecycle

*Coordinate subcontractors, internal trades, and field teams to maintain schedules and quality standards

*Collect and review daily reports, job site photos, safety documentation, and progress updates

*Ensure compliance with all safety and environmental regulations including OSHA, MSHA, EPA, and applicable local requirements

*Maintain strong relationships with clients, inspectors, and project stakeholders through clear communication and professionalism


Qualifications

*Minimum 20 years of experience in heavy civil or general construction

*Demonstrated project management experience required with estimating experience strongly preferred

*Strong leadership, communication, organization, and follow up skills

*Proficiency in Microsoft Office

*Team oriented mindset with a strong commitment to safety, quality, and accountability
