The Opportunity

The Role
You will be responsible for the full lifecycle delivery of wastewater treatment construction projects, ensuring performance across schedule, budget, safety, and quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage wastewater treatment plant projects from preconstruction through commissioning and closeout
- Develop and maintain detailed project schedules accounting for process sequencing and operational constraints
- Coordinate with field teams, subcontractors, engineers, inspectors, and municipal stakeholders
- Manage contracts, subcontracts, procurement, and vendor relationships
- Track project costs, forecasts, and change orders
- Identify and mitigate technical and commercial risks early
- Maintain full project documentation including RFIs, submittals, and pay applications
- Lead project meetings and provide clear communication to internal and external stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulatory requirements
What They’re Looking For
- 3+ years of Project Management experience in construction projects
- Direct experience delivering water or wastewater treatment plant projects
- Strong understanding of construction sequencing within active or regulated environments
- Experience working with municipal clients, consulting engineers, and regulatory bodies
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders, budgets, and schedules simultaneously
- Strong communication and coordination skills
Preferred Experience
- Background working on live wastewater or water treatment facilities
- Experience with process piping, mechanical systems, and reinforced concrete structures
- Familiarity with regulatory frameworks (e.g., environmental and municipal standards)
- Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
