Construction Project Manager

Pay is hourly $45 - $52 (Pending level of experience)

We are seeking an experienced Construction Manager to oversee residential coax and fiber‑to‑the‑home (FTTH) build activities. This role is responsible for (but not limited to) managing day‑to‑day field operations, coordinating crews and subcontractors, ensuring quality installations, and driving projects from planning through completion.

This is a hands‑on leadership role ideal for someone with strong telecom construction experience who can balance safety, quality, schedules, and customer impact.

• Oversee residential fiber and coax construction projects, including aerial and underground work
• Manage field crews and subcontractors performing drop installs, splicing, and plant construction
• Coordinate with engineering, permitting, and operations teams to keep builds on schedule
• Conduct site walk‑outs, inspections, and quality audits to ensure work meets standards
• Track production metrics (homes passed, drops completed, daily footage, etc.)
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, OSHA standards, and local ROW requirements
• Review as‑built documentation, redlines, and closeout packages
• Serve as point of contact for field issues, escalations, and customer concerns
• Communicate project status, risks, and progress to leadership

Required Qualifications

3–5+ years experience in telecom or utility construction management

Strong knowledge of fiber and/or coax (HFC / FTTH) construction

Experience managing subcontractors and multiple field crews

Understanding of aerial & underground construction methods

Ability to read construction prints, fiber maps, and work packages

Working knowledge of permitting, locates, and municipal coordination

Strong leadership, communication, and problem‑solving skills

Valid driver’s license and ability to travel within the service area

This is a Contract position based out of Forest Acres, SC.

The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $52.00/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Forest Acres,SC.
