**Construction Laborer - Start ASAP - $25/Hour**

This role involves supporting industrial construction projects by preparing and painting industrial piping and performing a variety of general labor tasks using hand and power tools on active data center construction sites.

Responsibilities

  • Clean and prepare industrial pipe using wire brushes and other tools to ensure surfaces are ready for coating.
  • Apply primer and paint to industrial piping and related components according to project specifications and safety standards.
  • Assist with general construction labor tasks, including site cleanup, material handling, and basic concrete work as needed.
  • Safely operate and work from lifts and other equipment to access elevated work areas.
  • Use hand tools and power tools correctly and safely to complete daily tasks.
  • Measure and mark materials using a tape measure to support accurate cutting, fitting, and installation.
  • Support sandblasting and other surface preparation activities as directed by site supervisors.
  • Follow all safety procedures and site rules while working on active data center construction sites.
  • Work collaboratively with the construction team to meet project timelines and quality expectations.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work area throughout the shift.

Skills & Qualifications

  • At least 2 years of experience in construction or a closely related field.
  • Proficiency using common construction hand tools such as brushes, scrapers, wrenches, and tape measures.
  • Experience operating power tools safely in a construction environment.
  • Ability to perform painting tasks, including surface preparation and application on industrial piping or similar structures.
  • Comfort working on lifts and at heights while following safety protocols.
  • Basic knowledge of concrete work and general labor practices.
  • Ability to read and use a tape measure accurately for measurements and layout.
  • Physical ability to perform manual labor for extended periods, including standing, bending, lifting, and working outdoors.
  • Strong awareness of construction site safety practices and willingness to follow all safety guidelines.
  • Experience working on industrial or data center construction sites.
  • Familiarity with forklifts or other material-handling equipment.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced construction environment.
  • Strong attention to detail in surface preparation and paint application.
  • Reliable attendance and willingness to work extended hours when required by the project schedule.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $25.00/hr.
