Cedar Park Group is hiring an experienced Estimator / Project Coordinator to produce accurate bids by performing takeoffs, building scopes, and securing subcontractor/vendor pricing using tools like PlanSwift and RSMeans.
Schedule/ShiftFull-time, M-F, Day shift
5+ years construction estimating (or similar)
Strong plan/spec reading + bid document review
Working knowledge of CSI Divisions
Ability to develop scopes, perform takeoffs, and build estimate sheets (labor/material/equipment)
Experience with estimating software (PlanSwift) and pricing data (RSMeans)
Strong communication, negotiation, and organization
Design-Build and Design-Bid-Build estimating knowledge
BA/BS in engineering, construction science, or related
Review bid docs and requirements
Complete takeoffs by division and organize per bid schedule
Develop scopes; source and obtain vendor/sub quotes
Research pricing, labor, production rates
Build and maintain estimate documentation in software
Review quotes, support buyout after award
Help with planning input (schedule/manpower) and material procurement
Maintain strong vendor/sub relationships
