Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) Mobility, Surveillance and Bombers (MS&B) is seeking a Configuration Management & Integration Engineer (Associate or Experienced) within the Product Lifecycle Management team in Oklahoma City, OK.
A Configuration Engineer ensures the consistency, stability, and traceability of hardware, and complex systems throughout their lifecycle. They manage changes and change boards against configuration, and ensure configuration identification for traceability.
Additionally, the ideal candidate will utilize strong communication skills to interface with cross-functional teams, management, and customers to help resolve technical issues and support organizational objectives.
This position will be 100% onsite in Oklahoma City, OK
Position Responsibilities:
Configuration Management (CM): Establish and maintain baselines, version histories, and "as-built" documentation for hardware and software. Manages and controls system elements and configurations over the program life cycle ensuring the overall coherence of the evolving design of a system is maintained in a verifiable manner through status accounting / reporting and reconciliation of the As-Designed against the As-Built records.
Integration and Deployment: Integrate with various engineering functions and Product Teams that support Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) by addressing changes to plans, processes and tools. Monitoring and tracking design integrity during the life cycle against those plans, processes and tools and ensuring updates as necessary.
Change Control & Audits: Manage Change Control Boards (CCB), and track configuration changes. Able to follow a governing configuration and change management process and appropriate tools to plan and control activities relating to maintaining design integrity. Knowledge/awareness of functional/physical configuration audits (PCA/FCA).
Baseline Control: Prepares information in support of configuration change control activities and works to a process for changing baselined data and product structures.
Tools & Automation: Knowledge of, or utilization of tools like CMPro and 3DX - or other tools that enable configuration control over engineering products.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement
2+ years’ experience documenting and implementing plans and processes to ensure products meet technical requirements and maintain configuration control
2+ years’ experience with reporting and metrics to enable key business decisions and process improvement
Experience gathering and analyzing data to support data analysis.
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
3+ years’ technical experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Systems Analysis
Experience with configuration management skills like Jira, CMPro, ADO
Experience with change management processes
Experience with configuration management processes.

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
Summary pay range:
Associate: $79,050 – $106,950
Experienced: $95,050 - $129,950
