Job Title: Carpenter
Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to oversee a small crew of employees in performing both foundational and wall pours, as well as some flatwork. Our company specializes in new commercial, industrial, agricultural, and multi-family concrete construction. The role involves working 40+ hours weekly with a team ranging from 3-8 employees. We have various roles available, from entry-level to experienced positions, within the foundations and walls team, as well as the finishing team.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage a small crew in concrete foundational and wall pours.
  • Assist in the preparation and pouring of concrete for various structures.
  • Manage and maintain tools and equipment used in concrete work.
  • Read and interpret blueprints to ensure accurate execution of project specifications.
  • Collaborate with team members to build forms and frameworks for concrete placement.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a clean work environment.
  • Perform tasks of the Concrete Laborer as needed.
Essential Skills
  • Proficiency in using hand and power tools.
  • Experience in concrete finishing and production.
  • Understanding of concrete forms and pours.
  • Ability to read basic blueprints and understand elevations, thickness, and reinforcement.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Ability to set wall forms and use a level to set elevations.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to work in all weather conditions.
  • Physical capability to lift up to 50lbs throughout the shift.

This is a Permanent position based out of Galesville, WI.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $35.00/hr.
