Job Title: Drafter/Designer
Location: Irvine, CA 92618
Duration: 06 Months contract (Potential temp to perm)
Payrate: $26/hr. - $30/hr.
Shift: 1st shift, Mon-Fri

Job Summary:
Work with general supervision and as a team player to perform routine drafting for mechanical, electrical and/or electronic components using both 3D and 2D CAD software and word processing for support documents.Apply knowledge and skills of procedures and techniques to create and modify documents that form a technical data package. This position is subject to meeting U.S. export compliance and/or U.S. Government contracting citizenship eligibility requirements. Must be a US Citizen.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Generate new documents and revise existing documents for mechanical, electrical, and/or electronic components and support documents.

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
REASONING ABILITY
Must have the ability to prioritize workload and complete tasks in a timely manner. Ability to pay close attention to detail, stay focused and maintain a high degree of accuracy on repetitive work. Requires strong organizational skills and work habits. Ability to follow instructions and procedures exactly and make minor decisions if following an established procedure. Ability to be highly productive in generating drawings and revisions. All work is subject to review.

COMPUTER SKILLS
Prior experience of mechanical, electrical and/or electronic component drafting and personal computer use using Word and Excel is required.Prior knowledge of SolidWorks and SOLIDWorks PDM is desired.
TOOLS/EQUIPMENT USED ON THE JOB
Personal computer using SolidWorks, SOLIDWORKS PDM, AutoCAD, Visio Excel and Word. Copier/printer and plotter.
