Computer Aided Design Designer

About the Role: Our client is looking for an entry level CAD Designer to join the team. This is an onsite role that works 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday from 7am-3:30pm with 30 minute lunch. There is full training provided on processes and the software utilized. This is an entry level role with room to grow within the company!

This role is looking to hire ASAP. If you are a May graduate, please only apply if you can start immediately after graduation.

Responsibilities:

• Designing work orders for power distribution projects, working in a corporate office environment
• Supporting large and small energy companies and clients.
• Primarily working at a desk in the office to design construction prints utilizing client specific CAD/GIS based software

Qualifications:

• Completed AS or BS degree in Engineering, Technology, Construction, etc OR 1+ years of design experience with CAD or GIS related software

Required Skills:

• Ability to work onsite.
• Has reliable transportation.
• Ability to learn new software.

Preferred Skills:

• Proven experience with CAD/GIS/design.
• Interest or background in utilities, telecom, commercial wiring or power space.
