Communications Manager – Employee Communications (Contract)


We’re partnering with a global consumer brand to add a Communications Manager focused on employee communications and high-impact internal events. This role blends strategic project and program management with hands-on content creation.


You’ll sit within the Employee Communications function, helping shape internal storytelling that informs, inspires, and connects employees The work is fast-paced, highly visible, and deeply integrated with brand and sport moments. You’ll support cultural and sport moments, major internal events, and ongoing executive communications. What you’ll do

  • Own project and program management for key internal initiatives, sport moments, leadership engagements, and all-team events.
  • Coordinate leadership team activities, partnering closely with executive admins on logistics, travel schedules, onsite experiences, and run-of-show.
  • Lead planning and execution for VIP visits and events, including security, venue, and stakeholder alignment.
  • Develop editorial content: announcements, newsletters, scripts, executive messages, and internal campaigns.
  • Partner with leaders and stakeholders to deliver a cohesive narrative and drive employee engagement through events, content, and messaging.
  • Track and report on metrics, identifying opportunities to improve impact and engagement.


Who you are

  • 7+ years in employee/internal comms, campaign or event management, executive communications, or related roles.
  • Comfortable working with senior leaders while also engaging employees on the ground.
  • Proven stakeholder, project, and program management skills across complex, matrixed environments.
  • Experienced managing agencies, budgets, timelines, and multiple partners.
  • Strong writer and storyteller with experience in integrated campaigns and creative production.
  • Fluent with digital comms tools (email platforms, survey tools, Slack, etc.).
