Commercial Project Manager

My client is hiring a Construction Project Manager to own commercial projects from award through close-out. This is a role for a PM who knows how to keep jobs moving, keep subs accountable, protect the budget, and communicate confidently with owners, architects, and field teams.


Qualifications:

  • Multi-family or wood framed hotels.
  • P6 experience/Primavera
  • Proficient with Procore
  • Track record of stability with companies (no jumping from contractor to contractor every few years)


Responsibilities:

  • Full administrative lifecycle management of commercial construction projects from kickoff to punch list and close-out
  • Budget tracking, job cost management, and protection of project margin
  • Oversight of RFIs, submittals, change orders, pay applications, and schedule of values
  • Running OAC (Owner Architect Contractor) meetings
  • Reading plans, specs, and scopes to identify gaps before they become costly issues
  • Daily coordination with Superintendents, subcontractors, vendors, and inspectors
  • Holding subcontractors accountable to schedule and scope
  • Clear communication with clients and internal leadership on progress and issues
  • Maintaining project schedules using tools such as Procore, P6, Primavera, or similar PM software
