My client is hiring a Construction Project Manager to own commercial projects from award through close-out. This is a role for a PM who knows how to keep jobs moving, keep subs accountable, protect the budget, and communicate confidently with owners, architects, and field teams.
Qualifications:
- Multi-family or wood framed hotels.
- P6 experience/Primavera
- Proficient with Procore
- Track record of stability with companies (no jumping from contractor to contractor every few years)
Responsibilities:
- Full administrative lifecycle management of commercial construction projects from kickoff to punch list and close-out
- Budget tracking, job cost management, and protection of project margin
- Oversight of RFIs, submittals, change orders, pay applications, and schedule of values
- Running OAC (Owner Architect Contractor) meetings
- Reading plans, specs, and scopes to identify gaps before they become costly issues
- Daily coordination with Superintendents, subcontractors, vendors, and inspectors
- Holding subcontractors accountable to schedule and scope
- Clear communication with clients and internal leadership on progress and issues
- Maintaining project schedules using tools such as Procore, P6, Primavera, or similar PM software
