Our client, a large construction management firm located in Wilmington, Delaware, is seeking a Construction Project Manager with demonstrated expertise in ground up commercial, retail, and multi-family development to join their team.

The Project Manager will plan, supervise and execute large commercial construction projects from conception to completion. The goal will be to ensure all projects are delivered on time according to requirements and within budget. This includes coordinating all team members as well as any third-party contractors in order to complete projects according to plan.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, architectural engineering, civil engineering, electrical engineering, or mechanical engineering
• 8+ years of Project Management experience in ground up construction (multifamily and commercial experience preferred)
• Experience developing pre-construction RFP packages
• Experience developing project meetings, setting milestones, weekly status reports, and project forecasts
• Experience ensuring OSHA compliance and Safety are first
• Strong subcontractor relationships and management skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Must have excellent time management skills and ability to work independently
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
