Description
This position is for a CNC Programmer/Machinist where they will be work on a variety of CNC machines, working on both CNC Lathes and Mills. The role requires someone to read blueprints or drawings, upload and create program in Mastercam, set up the machine, edit G Codes, and then run the part for production. They will be working on Citizen - Miyano machines. They will be required to operator and run their machine performing quality checks with micrometers and calipers at the end of the process.
Job Responsibilities:
Read and interpret blueprints along with work orders lists to gather proper materials
Set up and operate both CNC Mills and Lathes
Create program off of drawings and use Mastercam
Perform quality checks with analog micrometers and calipers (no digital)
Edit programs with G Codes and Mastercam
Part runs between 50 to 100 pieces
Job Requirements
At least 5 years’ experience as a CNC Programmer/Machinist working on both mill and lathe machines
Experienced in utilizing Mastercam to create programs
Ability to work off of blueprints as well as verbal instructions
Work within a job shop environment with a variety of parts and low part runs

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $35.00 - $37.00/hr.
