A growing and well-established manufacturing company, is seeking a CNC Mill-Turn Programmer to join their team on 1st shift. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled machinist looking to work with advanced equipment in a fast-paced, high-quality production environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up and operate CNC mill-turn machines to produce precision components
- Interpret blueprints, drawings, and setup sheets to determine machining processes
- Program machines using Esprit or manual CNC programming methods
- Perform in-process and final inspections using calipers, micrometers, and gauges
- Conduct routine machine maintenance, including tool changes and upkeep
- Troubleshoot machine or production issues to minimize downtime
- Complete production documentation and maintain accurate records
- Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment
- Collaborate with engineering, quality, and production teams
Qualifications
- 2–3+ years of experience operating CNC mill-turn or similar equipment
- Strong knowledge of CNC setup, operation, and programming
- Experience with multi-axis machining preferred
- Familiarity with CAD/CAM systems; Esprit experience is a plus but not necessary
- Ability to read blueprints and apply GD&T principles
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Work Environment
- Manufacturing/shop floor setting with moderate noise levels
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
- Hands-on role requiring strong manual dexterity
