CNC Programmer /{2726) Manufacturing Support Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced CNC Programmer with strong manufacturing support expertise to join a dynamic production environment. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience programming complex CNC machines and supporting shop floor operations in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

Responsibilities

• Generate and maintain CNC programs utilizing NX-CAM or similar software platforms.
• Program 3, 4, and 5-axis machines including:
• VMC
• VBM
• VTL
• HBM
• HMC
• EDM (Wire, Sinker, Fast Hole)
• Work with Okuma, Haas, Siemens, and Fanuc controls.
• Verify and validate CNC programs prior to shop floor release using Vericut.
• Utilize advanced machine tool controls including:
• Macro/Sub-routine programming
• Renishaw probing routines
• Variable-based programming
• Closed Loop Machining (CLM)
• Provide CNC-related technical support to Manufacturing Engineers and machine operators.
• Deliver training to operators, programmers, and engineering teams as needed.
• Troubleshoot CNC programming and machining issues on the shop floor.
• Collaborate effectively in both individual and team-oriented environments.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and adapt effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing organization.

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
• Solid shop math knowledge including geometry and trigonometry.
• Experience machining high-temperature superalloys used in aerospace or heavy-duty gas turbine components.
• Hands-on experience in CNC programming, machining processes, and manufacturing support.
• Ability to thrive in a matrixed and collaborative work environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in aerospace, turbine, or precision manufacturing industries.
• Exposure to advanced CNC automation and process optimization techniques.
