We’re looking for an experienced CNC Machinist to join a growing, stable manufacturing team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on machining, programming, and working with a variety of parts in a job shop environment.

You’ll work with modern Okuma CNC Mills and Lathes, take ownership of setups and programming, and play a key role in producing quality parts from print to production.

• Read and interpret blueprints and work orders to determine materials, setups, and machining requirements
• Set up and operate CNC Mills (3-axis) and CNC Lathes
• Create CNC programs from drawings using Mastercam
• Edit and troubleshoot programs using G-code and Mastercam
• Run production jobs with batch sizes typically ranging from 50–100 parts
• Perform in-process and final inspections using analog micrometers and calipers
• Work with a mix of CNC and manual equipment, including Bridgeport mills and manual lathes

Required Skills & Experience

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a CNC Programmer/Machinist
• Hands-on experience with both CNC mills and CNC lathes
• Strong proficiency in Mastercam programming
• Ability to work from blueprints and verbal instructions
• Experience in a job shop environment with varied parts and low-volume production

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Glendale Heights, IL.

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
