CNC Machinist

As a CNC Machinist, you will operate a vertical milling machine and utilize your experience with G-Code to program and edit CNC operations. Your role involves producing high-quality parts and components by programming, setting up, and operating CNC machines while maintaining a high level of accuracy and safety. While you won't need to create G-Codes from scratch, you should be able to understand and edit them. The role may also require light maintenance and upkeep of the machines.

• Operate vertical milling machine.
• Program and edit CNC operations using G-Code.
• Set up and operate CNC machines to produce high-quality parts.
• Maintain a high level of accuracy and safety in all operations.
• Perform light maintenance and upkeep of machines.

• Experience with vertical mill operation.
• Ability to edit and understand G-Code.
• Proficiency in tooling changes.

• Experience with maintenance and upkeep of machines.
• Skills in setup and tear down processes.
• Knowledge of blueprints, troubleshooting, mechanical changeovers, programming, grinding, milling, machining, and CAD/CAM equipment.

Work in a heavy manufacturing environment with the flexibility to choose your start time. Available shifts include 1st shift from 7:00am to 3:00pm, and 2nd shift from either 3:00pm to 11:00pm or 4:00pm to 12:00am.

This is a Permanent position based out of Benton Harbor, MI.

The pay range for this position is $27.00 - $31.00/hr.
