CNC Machinist – Lathes & Mills | Multiple Openings | Lansing, MI Area

We’re partnering with multiple manufacturing employers in the Lansing area who are seeking experienced CNC Machinists to support precision machining operations across a variety of industries.These roles are ideal for machinists who are comfortable setting up, programming, and running CNC equipment—and who enjoy working closely with engineering and production teams.

• Set up and operate CNC lathes and mills to produce precision components
• Write, test, and modify CNC programs to meet part specifications
• Interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and design data
• Select appropriate tooling, feeds, speeds, and cutting strategies
• Perform in‑process quality checks using precision measuring tools
• Complete quality and production documentation as required
• Review programs, observe trial runs, and make adjustments as needed
• Collaborate with engineers, supervisors, and fellow machinists to improve processes

• 5+ years of CNC machining experience on lathes and/or mills
• Strong understanding of CNC controls and basic programming
• Knowledge of metals, cutting tools, feeds, speeds, and depths of cut
• Ability to apply shop math and GD&T
• Proficiency using calipers, micrometers, and other inspection tools
• Comfortable operating overhead cranes and forklifts (training may be provided)

• Experience with Fanuc controls
• Programming experience using Mastercam
• Ability to write and edit G‑code and M‑code at the machine
• Strong communication skills for cross‑functional collaboration
• High school diploma or equivalent

• Multiple CNC openings across different Lansing‑area facilities

This is a Permanent position based out of Lansing, MI.

The pay range for this position is $49920.00 - $62400.00/yr.

This is a fully onsite position in Lansing,MI.
