Job Description

We are seeking skilled CNC Machinists to join our team, serving the aerospace and medical industries. Positions are available for both day and overnight shifts. In this role, you will perform complex tasks, including setting up, running, and troubleshooting machinery, maintaining tight tolerances, and conducting inspections on products.

Responsibilities

• Perform set-ups and operate CNC machines, including mills and lathes.
• Troubleshoot machinery issues and ensure efficient production.
• Maintain tight tolerances, specifically within +/- thousandths of an inch.
• Conduct inspections using micrometers and calipers.
• Communicate effectively with the engineering team.
• Complete necessary paperwork and adhere to safety regulations.
• Report any defective materials or processes.
• Adapt to customer demands, especially in handling aerospace components.

Essential Skills

• Minimum of 2+ years of experience with CNC milling or lathe operations.
• Proficiency in running and setting up CNC mill or lathe.
• Experience with Swiss machinery is a significant advantage.
• Ability to work with aluminum or stainless steel.
• Expertise in troubleshooting machinery.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Familiarity with Swiss Machinery.
• Capability to perform light edits and zero out a machine.

Work Environment

Our facility is extremely clean and well-lit, creating a comfortable working environment. Some shop areas may be louder while others are quieter. Day shift runs from 6:00am to 5:00pm, Monday to Friday, while the overnight shift operates from 5:00pm to 6:00am, Monday to Thursday.

This is a Permanent position based out of Agawam, MA.

The pay range for this position is $49920.00 - $72800.00/yr.

This is a fully onsite position in Agawam,MA.

This position is anticipated to close on Apr 27, 2026.
