CNC Programmer/Machinist - 1st shift

Shift/Hours: Monday - Friday 1st Shift, 6:00am-2:30 PM

Pay Rate: $26/hr - $34/hr (depending on experience)

Location: Dayton, Ohio 45404

Experience: 2+ Years of CNC experience, preferred Mori Seki/Hwacheonmachine experience, and Fanuc Controls experience

Core Responsibilities
In this role, you will operate computer numerical control machines to fabricate high-quality aerospace parts.

• Setup & Operation: Manage Mori Seki/Hwacheon (Fanuc) single and multi-spindle lathes and mills.
• Production: Load parts, cycle machines, and run production lots within a cell environment.
• Maintenance: Perform milling, turning, drilling, and de-burring while maintaining a clean, safe work area.
• Quality Control: Inspect machined products using precision instruments and document results to meet quality standards.
• Collaboration: Detect malfunctions (like worn tooling) and communicate effectively with the team regarding production runs.

Qualifications

• Technical Skills: Proficiency in blueprint reading, Fanuc systems, and basic math.
• Experience: Proven background in CNC machining, specifically with lathes.
• Measurement: Familiarity with calipers, micrometers, and other precision tools.
• Mindset: Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and strong technical/mechanical capacity.
