Cloud Network Engineer

Job Title: Cloud Network Engineer

Location:- Dallas TX

Top Priorities:

• Strong Azure networking background — this is not a multi-cloud generalist role
• Experience with hub-and-spoke architecture in Azure
• Hands-on experience with ExpressRoute (environment is already established)
• Familiarity with load balancer + firewall design patterns, specifically Palo Alto “sandwich” architecture
• Solid experience with:
• Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS)
• Private Endpoints / Private Link
• Private DNS and integration with on-prem DNS

Nice to Have:

• Experience in hybrid cloud environments (Azure + on-prem)
• Exposure to Palo Alto firewalls
• Ability to collaborate with internal networking teams (they won’t be heavily hands-on with on-prem, but need to speak the language)

Certifications:

• Azure Solutions Architect Expert is strongly preferred
• AWS/GCP certs are only relevant if the candidate also has strong Azure networking experience
• Traditional networking certs (CCNA/CCNP/etc.) are not a major focus
