I'm partnering exclusively with a fast-growing, high-impact FinTech platform business that builds and operates cutting-edge infrastructure for some of the world's most sophisticated hedge funds. They're looking for a talented Cloud Engineer to own the cloud and platform systems at the heart of their product.
The Role
You'll sit at the intersection of cloud architecture, platform engineering, and AI development — collaborating with Forward Deployed Engineers to design secure, scalable, high-performance environments for elite institutional clients.
What You'll Own
- Design, implement, and manage secure cloud infrastructure (Azure is non-negotiable)
- IaC deployments using Terraform across cloud environments
- Networking: VPNs, VPC connectivity, private endpoints, DNS, and certificate-based auth
- CI/CD pipelines and containerized environments (Docker)
- Cloud automation via Bash/Python scripting and infrastructure testing
- Provisioning isolated, single-tenant client environments end-to-end
- Backend and data infrastructure — Redis, MSSQL, Azure SQL — supporting high-load financial data workloads
- Influencing the product roadmap alongside the engineering and product teams
What My Client Is Looking For
- 3+ years in cloud infrastructure or platform engineering
- Strong Azure experience (essential)
- Hands-on with Terraform, Docker, and CI/CD tooling
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, client-facing environment
- Background in fintech, trading, or financial data workloads is a strong plus
