Are you an experienced full stack developer or SRE looking to step into an architect role? Come join one of Michigan’s major utility providers as a Cloud Architect owning testing automation and enhancements as a part of a critical IT team supporting customer-facing applications. Minimum requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in a Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) or Full Stack Software development role supporting high-traffic applications.
• Hands-on experience conducting load tests (jMeter, jmax), managing, and deploying applications utilizing GitHub CI/CD pipelines.
• Significant experience developing and deploying IaC using Terraform.
• Significant hands-on experience in software development, ideally using JavaScript-based languages/ libraries, Java, .NET, or similar.

Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

• Conduct stress and load tests on high-traffic applications hosted in Azure, using JMeter and jmax files, Azure Load Test/ App Testing, and/or Playwright.
• Manage GitHub CI/CD pipelines, execute GitHub actions to modify pipelines, ensure code is deployed effectively.
• Write automations scripts to simulate high-traffic and critical situations to test application performance, reliability, and availability.
• Review application performance, detail metrics, and identify areas and methods of improvement.
• Grow the development team’s capabilities in order to be more self-sufficient in an enterprise Agile environment.
