Job Title: Clinical ManagerJob DescriptionThe Clinical Manager is responsible and accountable for the clinical patient treatment and support for Adult outpatient services. This role involves overseeing daily operations, ensuring compliance with accrediting and regulatory organizations, and providing leadership to clinical staff.
Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and monitor policies, procedures, goals, and objectives.
- Evaluate training and performance needs of staff, recruit and select staff, conduct attendance reviews, performance evaluations, and provide managerial representation during HR investigations and disciplinary/grievance hearings.
- Review referrals to ensure appropriateness of admission.
- Facilitate meetings with contracted providers to address issues and improve program functioning and client outcomes.
- Participate in case conferences and other meetings aimed at addressing placement/disposition challenges and identifying placement and/or treatment options.
- Assist in developing strategies for improving, reviewing, and monitoring client care.
- Oversee assigned clinical staff, clinical individual & group sessions, and all levels of care.
- Provide treatment to patients and maintain a caseload.
- Ensure that all client files documentation is complete and thorough and in compliance with DPH, Joint Commission, and contract standards.
- Ensure compliance in all contracts and outcomes are met or exceeded.
- Oversee and monitor clinic quality assurance systems.
- Responsible for accreditation activities; DPH and Joint Commission as it relates to clinical protocols.
- Ensure financial benchmarks are achieved as outlined in the yearly budget.
- Track data and clinician productivity and provide support to staff to ensure compliance with identified benchmarks.
- Perform duties of Clinicians as required.
- Manage staff schedule to ensure clinical services meet client needs.
- Communicate with management staff regarding relevant program issues.
- Act as liaison between VP and reporting departments.
- Assure positive communication between reporting departments and other CRT departments.
- Oversee, provide, and/or assure representation of CRT to and among outside agencies, community organizations, groups, and individuals.
- Enhance and develop best practice treatment programs to assure continuous quality improvement for all adult programming and services.
- May serve as agency liaison with external regulatory, Clinical Support planning and advisory groups, and other regulatory and service agencies.

Additional Skills & Qualifications- Master's degree in Social Work is required.
- Minimum of 5 years of related clinical experience with Adult services, mental health or co-occurring Homelessness, Substance use disorders.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a supervisory capacity or a combination of experience equivalent to 5 years is required.
- Active Certification in good standing in: Licensed Clinician Social Worker (LCSW) is required.
- Demonstrated ability to work in collaboration with other service providers.
- Ability to communicate effectively, compile written reports, and maintain/review case files.
- Ability to supervise and motivate clinical staff to perform their duties efficiently.
- Time management skills and must be computer literate.
- Experience working in a JC accredited, fee-for-service environment required.
- Proven experience in managerial position.
- Experience in clinical supervision and program management.
- Excellent knowledge of standards and regulations for the clinical field as it relates to Adult outpatient services.
- Proficient in MS Office and computer systems (e.g. Electronic health records).
- Knowledge of contractual compliance, clinical policy and procedures, managing clinical staff, and clinical individual & group sessions specific to Adults.
- Bilingual: Spanish Fluent – Speak/Written.
Work EnvironmentTasks involve sedentary to light work, involving some reaching, handling, fingering, and/or feeling of objects and materials. Some tasks require visual perception and discrimination and oral communications ability. Tasks are regularly performed with exposure to adverse environmental conditions, such as dirt, dust, pollen, odors, wetness, humidity, rain, fumes, temperature and noise extremes, machinery, vibrations, electric currents, traffic hazards, animals/wildlife, toxic/poisonous agents, violence, disease, or pathogenic substances.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Hartford, CT.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $39.00 - $41.00/hr.
