Develop comprehensive clinical research budgets based on study protocols for both industry-sponsored and investigator-initiated trials
Assess study feasibility, resource requirements, and cost structures to ensure accurate budget development
Lead budget negotiations with sponsors, ensuring full cost recovery and compliance with Medicare and regulatory guidelines
Serve as a key resource and backup for clinical research budgeting activities across studies
Review and validate payment terms prior to contract execution to ensure organizational requirements are met
Monitor and resolve issues related to billing milestones, invoicing, and protocol-related payments
Update and renegotiate budgets as needed based on protocol amendments
Support workload distribution, study assignments, and prioritization of budgeting activities
Lead or participate in departmental meetings and contribute to operational planning
Assist with training and mentoring junior staff members
Prepare data, reports, and presentations for senior leadership
Foster strong working relations
