Overview

Serves as an integral part of the payroll process for the manufacturing company by checking and approving time daily in the labor management time keeping system.

Responsibilities

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Daily administration of the labor management time keeping system. (Microsoft Dynamics – AX)
  • Uses detail accuracy skills to verify, check and approve time keeping transactions for up to 700 employees on a daily basis.
  • Enter PTO and other pay types into the time keeping database.
  • Analyze time keeping issues and provide appropriate resolutions.
  • Continually analyze the time keeping systems to develop best practices to improve efficiency of approval processes.
  • Assist the Sr. Payroll & Benefits Specialist in all activities relating to payroll processing.
  • Serves as a backup for the Receptionist/Human Resources Assistant during breaks/lunch etc.

Education/Experience:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and two to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
