Job Title: 2ND SHIFT Equipment Cleaner 2PM-10:30PM

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The role involves ensuring medical equipment sanitized to maintain a patient-ready condition, adhering to high-quality standards, and meeting both customer and company metrics. This position plays a vital role in maintaining a clean and safe work environment.

Responsibilities

  • Disassemble equipment, sanitize to standard, and then reassemble the product.
  • Deliver equipment to patient rooms or standby locations in a patient-ready condition with appropriate software, accessories, and disposables.
  • Communicate confidently with clinical staff regarding equipment features and functionality.
  • Provide quality service and perform to quality standards, meeting customer and company metrics.
  • Pick up, clean, and process all equipment, preparing it for patient-ready use following all company and hospital protocols.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment, complying with health and safety protocols.
  • Conduct equipment tracking rounds using handheld scanners to capture equipment activities.
  • Run reports as required by a supervisor and monitor equipment levels.
  • Record all non-functional equipment reported by customers and document all equipment incidents according to company and customer policies.
  • Complete safety inspections and preventative maintenance on equipment when applicable.
  • Provide customer feedback to the supervisor in a timely manner.
  • Comply with HIPAA regulations in all matters.

  • Candidates must be team players and fit well within the company culture.
  • Candidates should be comfortable working in environments with potential exposure to bodily fluids.

Work Environment

The role involves working in a climate-controlled warehouse. Initial training will take place in Earth City, after which candidates may be transferred to a hospital or another location in the St. Louis area. Shifts are available from 2pm-10:30pm.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Earth City, MO.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00/hr.
