Civil Litigation Associate Attorney

HWS Law Group is a regional litigation firm with offices located in both Seattle, Washington, and Portland, Oregon. We have spent the last 25+ years refining the art of litigation and dispute resolution. We are seeking a qualified Litigation Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong academic credentials and litigation experience. Appellate and/or trial experience is a plus.

The ideal candidate has the experience that demonstrates (a) excellent research, writing, and analytical skills; (b) attention to detail; (c) confidence in taking depositions and/or in presenting oral argument in the courtroom; and, importantly, (d) a strong desire to accelerate the learning process by becoming actively involved in the handling of complex cases.

This position is based in our Seattle or Portland office with a hybrid work schedule of 3 days a week in the office, 2 days remote.

Qualifications:

• 1-3 years Litigation experience (discovery, deposition preparation, motion practice, etc.)
• Civil Litigation
• Excellent research and writing skills
• Positive attitude, ability to work as a team player and a desire to work cooperatively with partners, legal assistants, and paralegals.
• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
• Admitted to WA/OR State Bar

Salary Range

• $100,000 - $120,000 DOE
