Civil Engineer

Civil Engineer (EIT) – 3–5 Years Experience

Location: Orlando, Florida

Overview:

We are seeking a Civil Engineer (EIT) with 3–5 years of experience to support land development and infrastructure projects in the Orlando area. This role offers the opportunity to work on a variety of site development projects from concept through construction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the design of site development plans, including grading, drainage, utilities, and roadway layouts
• Prepare engineering calculations, reports, and permit submittals
• Support stormwater management and erosion control design in compliance with local regulations
• Coordinate with project managers, clients, and regulatory agencies
• Utilize AutoCAD Civil 3D for plan production and design

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
• 3–5 years of relevant experience (land development preferred)
• Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification required
• Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D
• Familiarity with Florida design standards and permitting processes (SJRWMD, FDOT, local municipalities)

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with hydrology/hydraulic modeling tools (e.g., ICPR, Hydraflow)
• Knowledge of FDOT standards and specifications
• Progress toward Professional Engineer (PE) licensure
