Civil Engineer – Land Development

About the Role

We’re looking for a driven and collaborative Civil Engineer to play a key role in expanding our Land Development practice. In this client‑facing position, you’ll build and strengthen relationships with private real estate developers, lead multidisciplinary project teams, and help shape the future of our growing practice.

You’ll take ownership of proposals, project budgets, and client accounts while guiding technical design efforts and mentoring emerging talent. This is an opportunity for someone who enjoys both engineering and strategic leadership, and who thrives in a supportive, growth‑oriented environment.

What You’ll Do

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with private land development and redevelopment clients
  • Lead business development efforts, including proposal preparation and project budgeting
  • Manage client accounts, including billing, collections, and long‑term relationship stewardship
  • Oversee and guide project design teams to deliver high‑quality, on‑time work
  • Mentor, train, and support junior staff in their technical and professional growth
  • Participate in and lead internal training sessions and management meetings
  • Collaborate closely with the Land Development Practice Area Director on mission alignment, quality assurance, staff development, and project performance

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in land development

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $85000.00 - $110000.00/yr.
