Must Haves
Strong accounting and financial leadership background, with hands‑on ownership of month‑end close, financial statements, and variance reporting.
Healthcare finance experience, ideally within hospital, surgery center, or ambulatory environments, including Medicare reporting and cost accounting.
Proven ability to operate across both financial and operational leadership functions (not a numbers‑only CFO).
Deep knowledge of revenue cycle and accounts receivable, with the ability to confidently address detailed questions from executive leadership, board members, and partners.
Experience preparing and presenting Monthly Operating Reviews (MORs), board‑level financials, and quarterly partner reports, including actionable variance‑to‑budget narratives.
Demonstrated people leadership experience, including managing senior leaders and driving accountability through productivity and KPI reporting.
Strong Excel skills, including advanced reporting, pivot tables, and macro‑enabled analysis.
Comfort working directly with EMR, ERP, and financial systems to pull, analyze, and interpret data.
Ability to thrive in a roll‑up‑your‑sleeves, COO/CFO‑style role within a lean but growing organization.
Willingness to be fully onsite initially (5 days/week); hybrid flexibility may be considered after approximately 90 days.

Background in capital budgeting, purchasing, vendor contracting, and spend optimization.
Familiarity with Lean Six Sigma (LSS) or other operational improvement methodologies.
Experience building or enhancing dashboards, scorecards, and executive KPI reporting.
Demonstrated interest in mentoring and developing leaders within finance and operations teams.
Strong fit for a Director or Senior Director ready to step into a CFO role, with long‑term growth potential.
Day‑to‑Day Summary
Own month‑end close and prepare financial statements and reporting packages for executive leadership, the board, and quarterly partner meetings.
Lead and present Monthly Operating Reviews (MORs) to executive and regional leadership, including variance analysis, operational challenges, and turnaround strategies.
Produce multiple financial reports per month tailored to executives, board members, and site‑level managers.
Serve as the primary finance voice in board and partner meetings, answering detailed questions around services, margins, receivables, and revenue cycle performance.
Partner closely with operations leaders to tie financial performance to day‑to‑day operational drivers, including staffing, throughput, purchasing, and collections.
Support site managers with EBITDA‑based performance reporting, directly tied to bonus structures and accountability.
Oversee and collaborate with senior leaders across Materials/Purchasing, Facilities, and Business Office / Billing operations.
Lead financial planning efforts related to capital expenditures, contracting spend, and budget re‑forecasting as business needs evolve.
Continue building and refining financial reporting, dashboards, and productivity metrics that were recently introduced and are still maturing.
Transition into the role with the expectation of longer‑term conversion, owning both financial outcomes and operational partnership as the permanent CFO.
