THE OPPORTUNITY

Piedmont Driving Club is seeking a Chief Engineer to lead facilities and engineering operations across both of our premier Atlanta properties. This is a rare chance to take ownership of a high-impact leadership role at one of the city's most respected private clubs — an institution with nearly 140 years of excellence and a reputation built on white-glove service and meticulous attention to detail.

Reporting to Director of Facilities, you'll oversee a team of [X] and serve as the operational backbone of our physical properties — ensuring our Main Clubhouse and Golf Club remain in exceptional condition for members and their guests, year-round.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Lead and develop an engineering team built on accountability, teamwork, and high performance
• Oversee all building systems — mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and structural
• Design and drive preventative maintenance programs and capital project planning
• Plan and manage capital improvement projects from scoping through completion
• Ensure safety and regulatory compliance across both properties
• Manage vendor relationships and coordinate repairs efficiently
• Rolling up your sleeves when hands-on problem-solving is needed

WHAT YOU'LL EARN

• Salary: $105,000–$125,000 annually

Requirements

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• 5+ years of facilities/maintenance experience in a club, hotel, or comparable environment
• 2+ years of supervisory or leadership experience
• Technical training in electrical systems, HVAC, or refrigeration (preferred)
• Experience managing preventative maintenance programs and capital projects
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and maintenance management systems
• EPA certification and/or Certified Pool Operator (CPO) preferred
• High school diploma or GED required; college degree preferred
