Role Overview

hellocare.ai is seeking a visionary and execution-focused Chief Clinical Officer (CCO) to lead the clinical strategy, innovation, and adoption of AI-assisted virtual care across our platform and customer base.


This is a critical executive leadership role that reports directly to the Founder and CEO, working in close partnership to shape company strategy, influence product direction, and drive enterprise-scale clinical transformation.


The CCO will define the future of care delivery through technology and work directly with leading health systems across the country to scale next-generation models including virtual nursing, AI-assisted workflows, and intelligent hospital rooms.


Key Responsibilities

Clinical Strategy and Leadership

  • Define and lead hellocare.ai’s clinical vision across inpatient, outpatient, and home care environments
  • Establish scalable care delivery models leveraging AI, virtual care, and intelligent hospital room capabilities
  • Serve as the primary clinical advisor to the Founder and CEO and executive leadership team

Product and Innovation

  • Partner closely with Product and Engineering to design, validate, and scale AI-assisted clinical workflows
  • Translate frontline clinical needs into product innovation across virtual nursing, patient observation, RPM, and patient engagement
  • Drive development of next-generation capabilities including AI assistants, automation, and continuous monitoring

Customer Engagement and Adoption

  • Build and maintain executive-level relationships with health system leaders including CNOs, CMIOs, and CIOs
  • Lead clinical adoption strategies to move customers from pilot programs to enterprise-wide deployments
  • Act as a trusted advisor to customers in redesigning care delivery models

Clinical Outcomes and Quality

  • Define and track key clinical, operational, and financial outcomes such as patient safety, nurse efficiency, and patient experience
  • Establish and oversee quality assurance and performance improvement programs
  • Ensure consistent, high-quality clinical outcomes across all customer deployments

Regulatory and Compliance

  • Ensure adherence to clinical standards, telehealth regulations, and evolving AI-related healthcare policies
  • Guide internal teams and customers on compliance, governance, and best practices
  • Partner with legal and regulatory teams to support product and market expansion

Thought Leadership and Market Influence

  • Represent hellocare.ai at industry conferences, executive forums, and customer events
  • Contribute to industry thought leadership in AI-assisted care delivery and virtual care transformation
  • Help position hellocare.ai as a category leader in intelligent, AI-driven healthcare


Your Profile

  • Advanced clinical degree required such as MD, RN, MSN, DNP, or equivalent clinical leadership background
  • 10+ years of progressive clinical leadership experience, including executive roles such as Chief Nursing Officer, Chief Medical Information Officer, or similar
  • Deep understanding of health system operations, clinical workflows, and care delivery models at scale
  • Proven experience with virtual care, telehealth, or digital health transformation initiatives
  • Strong understanding of AI, automation, and data-driven clinical decision support in healthcare preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to lead large-scale change management and drive enterprise adoption across health systems
  • Experience working cross-functionally with product, engineering, and commercial teams
  • Strong executive presence with the ability to influence C-suite stakeholders and board-level discussions
  • Passion for innovation and transforming healthcare through technology
  • Active involvement in clinical or healthcare leadership organizations is a plus
