Conduct chemical testing on raw materials, in-process batches, and finished products per standard procedures; approve or reject materials based on results and perform sensory evaluations.
Analyze test data to identify root causes, recommend corrective/preventive actions, and support nonconformance investigations and continuous improvement initiatives.
Execute in-process adjustments by calculating accurate additions for out-of-spec batches and coordinating with operations to ensure compliance with specifications.
Support technology transfer from R&D to the lab, including method validation, training staff on new methodologies, and maintaining adherence to cGMP/GLP standards.
Maintain laboratory quality systems, including calibration, validation (IQ/OQ/PQ), troubleshooting instruments, and ensuring accurate documentation and compliance with regulatory requirements.
Manage lab operations support activities such as inventory of supplies, safety compliance, waste disposal, and effective use of laboratory equipment and software (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
