Chemical Operator

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret batch sheets to ensure accurate production.
• Prepare paperwork and coordinate with the laboratory for quality assurance.
• Stage materials required for production processes.
• Transport and handle drums and cans containing raw materials.
• Operate mixers and pumps to blend and process materials.
• Add pigments to materials to achieve desired colors.
• Ensure proper handling and disposal of chemicals.

• Minimum of one year experience in handling chemicals, including batching and mixing.
• Proficiency in reading batch tickets and basic Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Ability to handle and transport materials using forklifts (forklift license required).
• Familiarity with drum and can handling, weighing, running mixes, pumps, and filtration.

• Preferred safety certifications such as CPR or Hazmat.
• Experience in chemical, pharmaceutical, biotech, or food and beverage industries.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Strong organizational skills and punctuality.

Work Environment

Work in a large, indoor facility located in Norcross, GA, within the OFS building. The work schedule is Monday to Friday, 7 AM to 3:30 PM, with occasional Saturdays and potential overtime of up to 8 hours a week. Enjoy a structured workday with a 30-minute lunch and two 15-minute paid breaks. Please note the no phone policy and be prepared to lift up to 40 pounds. The workplace is organized to prioritize safety and efficiency.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lawrenceville, GA.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Lawrenceville,GA.
