How you'll make an impact in this role

  • Prepare the surgical environment by meticulously organizing sterile drapes, solutions, and instrumentation to ensure the operating suite is mission-ready for every procedure.
  • Support surgical flow by anticipating the needs of the surgeon and providing the required instruments and supplies with speed and precision throughout the operation.
  • Lead patient positioning and safety by collaborating with the surgical team to prepare, transport, and drape patients, ensuring their physical protection and clinical readiness.
  • Guarantee procedural accuracy by maintaining a highly organized sterile field and conducting rigorous, proactive counts of all instruments and supplies to ensure patient safety.

What minimum qualifications you'll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • Surgical Tech credentialed from the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.

Education:

  • High school diploma/GED with 2 years of experience, or Associate's degree, or Technical degree required.

  • Previous experience as a surgical technologist.
