Certified Surgical First Assistant (CSFA)
We just updated our CSFA compensation rates — and we'd love to tell you more in person.
We're one of the most respected orthopedic practices in the Midwest, and we're looking for a CSFA who wants to do meaningful, high-volume work alongside genuinely talented surgeons. This isn't a role where you're waiting around. You'll be in the OR, first assisting on ortho cases — spine, total joints, the works — across some of the best facilities in Central Indiana.
What the role looks like day to day:
Monday through Friday, 7:30am–4:00pm, with some on-call. You'll float between several locations across the Indianapolis metro area. Variety is built in.
In the OR, you're directly first assisting the surgeon — draping, exposure, hemostasis, closure, casting, splinting. You'll also help with patient positioning, skin prep, post-op transport, room turnover, and supporting anesthesia when needed. Our goal is a department that runs efficiently and supports every patient from pre-op through recovery.
What we're looking for:
Active CST and CSFA certifications, BLS, and at least 1–2 years of surgical experience (2–4 years preferred). Associate's degree in a related field is a plus. Most importantly, someone who takes pride in their craft and genuinely cares about the patients they're with.
What you get:
Full benefits, a team that has your back, real work/life balance, and the chance to be part of a physician-owned hospital model where quality of care is taken seriously at every level. People here know your name.
