Responsibilities
- Administer anesthesia for a wide range of surgical procedures including general, orthopedic, GI, OB, and urology cases
- Conduct thorough pre-anesthesia assessments and develop individualized care plans
- Provide intraoperative anesthesia management and post-anesthesia recovery care
- Collaborate with anesthesiologists, surgeons, and perioperative staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Maintain compliance with hospital, state, and federal safety and quality standards
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Nurse Anesthesia program
- Board certified (NBCRNA)
- Active or eligible for Maine RN/APRN licensure
- Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
- Strong clinical skills, ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-based care model
