Position Overview

Central Maine Medical Center, affiliated with Prime Healthcare, is seeking a full-time Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to join its dedicated anesthesia team. Responsibilities

  • Administer anesthesia for a wide range of surgical procedures including general, orthopedic, GI, OB, and urology cases
  • Conduct thorough pre-anesthesia assessments and develop individualized care plans
  • Provide intraoperative anesthesia management and post-anesthesia recovery care
  • Collaborate with anesthesiologists, surgeons, and perioperative staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes
  • Maintain compliance with hospital, state, and federal safety and quality standards


Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited Nurse Anesthesia program
  • Board certified (NBCRNA)
  • Active or eligible for Maine RN/APRN licensure
  • Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
  • Strong clinical skills, ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-based care model
