Schedule: Full-time | Day Shift | 7 on 7 off

How you'll make an impact in this role

• Advanced System Management: Pro-activelymaintain automated dispensing systems to ensure seamless, secure medication access for clinical units.
• Clinical Compounding: Accurately prepare sterile and non-sterile compounds and repackage medications according to strict CPhT safety standards.
• Inventory Stewardship: Manage the pharmacy’s lifeblood by overseeing inventory, receiving supplies, and ensuring all stock meets regulatory storage requirements.
• Expert Liaison: Serve as a primary point of contact, triaging complex inquiries and providing vital information to patients and healthcare professionals.
• Technical Leadership: Partner with Pharmacists to deliver high-level distributive services and maintain the technical integrity of the pharmacy department.

What minimum qualifications you'll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• Registered Pharmacy Tech credentialed from the Tennessee Board of Pharmacy obtained within 3 Months (90 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. Pharmacy students actively enrolled in a school of pharmacy are not required to have certification/registration.

One or more of the following required:

• Certified Pharmacy Tech credentialed from the National Healthcareer Association obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Pharmacy students actively enrolled in a school of pharmacy are not required to have certification/registration.
• Certified Pharmacy Tech credentialed from the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Pharmacy students actively enrolled in a school of pharmacy are not required to have certification/registration.

Education:

• High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
  • Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.

What additional requirements you'll need

• IV room experience preferred.
