Schedule: Full-time | 7 on / 7 off | Evenings

How you'll make an impact in this role

  • Lead hazardous drug compounding, manage nuclear pharmacy tasks, and perform detailed medication histories to ensure patient safety.
  • Navigate benefit investigations, prior authorizations, and financial assistance programs to ensure our patients have seamless access to care.
  • Optimize inventory and drug shortage management while maintaining automated dispensing systems and regulatory compliance.
  • Act as a high-level communicator between providers, retail pharmacies, and data exchanges to facilitate well-coordinated patient care.
  • Serve as a pharmacist extender, which may include providing immunizations, billing specialized accounts, and assisting in the "Caregiver Model of the Future."

What minimum qualifications you'll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

  • Registered Pharmacy Tech credentialed from the Tennessee Board of Pharmacy obtained within 3 Months (90 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. Pharmacy students actively enrolled in a school of pharmacy are not required to have certification/registration.

One or more of the following required:

  • Certified Pharmacy Tech credentialed from the National Healthcareer Association obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Pharmacy students actively enrolled in a school of pharmacy are not required to have certification/registration.
  • Certified Pharmacy Tech credentialed from the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Pharmacy students actively enrolled in a school of pharmacy are not required to have certification/registration.

Education:

  • High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
    • Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.
