Shift: Days
Duration: 26 Weeks
Pay Rate: $55/hr - $57/hr
Responsibilities:
- Hands-on experience preparing chemotherapy infusions in a hospital or infusion center setting.
- The technician will work closely with the pharmacist and oncology team to ensure safe, accurate, and timely preparation of infusion medications.
- Prepare chemotherapy and other infusion medications in a hospital/infusion setting.
- Perform hazardous drug compounding under pharmacist supervision.
- Assist with sterile IV compounding in a cleanroom environment.
- Ensure accurate preparation, labeling, and staging of medications for infusion patients.
- Maintain compliance with oncology safety standards and protocols.
- Collaborate with pharmacists, nurses, and providers to support infusion workflows.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of hospital pharmacy technician experience.
- Infusion Center Experience Required.
- Recent hands-on experience preparing chemotherapy infusions in a hospital or infusion center Sterile compounding experience.
- Hazardous drug handling and compounding experience.
- Active Oregon Pharmacy Technician license OR National certification (CPhT).
