Certified Pharmacy Tech - Travel Job

Minimum Requirements:

• Current Pharmacy Technician credential or State license to practice in North Carolina. RPh in North Carolina required for pharmacist roles; pharmacy technician applicants must hold the state-required credential for technicians.
• Prior hospital pharmacy experience required. Experience working in a central pharmacy or inpatient hospital setting preferred.
• Experience overseeing or working with pharmacy technicians and supporting pharmacy operations, including order verification and product checking/distribution.
• Experience with Cerner EMR and pharmacy automation systems preferred. Specific equipment experience desirable: Talyst, Pyxis, LAFW, CAI, Vigilanz.
• Experience working with pediatric and adult pharmaceutical care preferred.
• Ability to work a 7-on/7-off rotation that includes weekends. Rotation may start mid-week.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a high-volume, high-stress environment and multitask effectively.
• Current ACLS certification preferred if assignment includes Emergency Department responsibilities.
• PTCB certification preferred.

Assignment Details

• Facility type: Hospital.
• Unit: Central Pharmacy, inpatient hospital pharmacy operations.
• Shift name: Days.
• Shift details: Days 0700-1900.
• Schedule pattern: 7 days on, 7 days off rotation that includes weekends. Rotation start day may vary.
• Dress code: Scrubs—forest green top and bottom, or black bottoms. Business casual allowed when applicable.
• May require floating within the organization to support other pharmacy areas as needed.
