Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) with Acute Care experience to join a fast-paced Medical-Surgical unit in a hospital setting. This role requires recent hands-on experience in acute care and the ability to adapt to various units as needed.

Key Details:

• Specialty: Acute Care Medical-Surgical
• Patient Ratio: 1:10
• Experience Required: Minimum 1 year of Acute Care experience in a hospital setting (within the last 3 years)
• First-Time Travelers: Accepted

Requirements:

• Active Illinois CNA license
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Recent Acute Care experience (LTC/SNF experience not accepted)
• Ability to float to other units as required

Schedule:

• Weekend requirement: Every other weekend
• Floating: Required based on facility needs

Responsibilities:

• Assist patients with daily living activities
• Monitor and record vital signs
• Support nursing staff with patient care in a Med Surg unit
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment
• Provide compassionate care to diverse patient populations
