Job Title: Cell Culture Technician

Location: Zionsville, IN 46077

100% onsite

Duration: 12 months contract

Schedule: Mon – Fri 8:00am - 5:00pm (40 hours/week)

Position Overview

The client is seeking a Laboratory Technician (Contractor) to join the Predictive Safety Center within Crop Protection Regulatory Science.
The responsibilities of this position include assisting with cell-based assays, performing general laboratory operations and maintenance tasks.

Key Responsibilities

Provide daily technical support for in vitro assay operations under the supervision of scientists and technicians.
Perform both routine and non-routine laboratory tasks, including:
Ordering and maintaining laboratory supplies.
Cleaning and organizing laboratory areas.
Preparing biological and chemical stock solutions according to standard operating procedures.
Performing manual liquid transfers and operating automated liquid handlers.
Collaborate closely with Cell Biologist and Molecular Biologist to ensure efficient and accurate completion of tasks.
Maintain accurate records and follow all safety and quality protocols.

Education

Associate’s/ Bachelor’s degree in biotechnology, Biology, or a related scientific field (MS candidates are overqualified)

Experience

Minimum of 1 year of relevant laboratory experience.
Hands-on experience in cell culture, biotechnology, biology, or a related field.
Proficiency in aseptic technique.
Experience in cell culture as well as aseptic technique.
Experience with laboratory automation is a plus.
